Past Work & Clients
Ally Financial
Ally Financial Inc. is a leading financial services company offering a comprehensive suite of banking, investment, and insurance products. As one of the largest financial holding companies in the U.S., Ally serves millions of customers nationwide.
During my tenure at Ally, I supported the Lending division, which specialized in B2B2C financing solutions across various industries. One of my key projects involved redesigning the Agent-Assisted Apply (3A) workflow into the Hybrid Application, enabling borrowers without email or digital device access to complete their loan applications—eliminating the need for providers to seek alternative lenders.
This initiative required a strategic, cross-functional collaboration to overcome complex challenges and enhance accessibility in the lending process.
Timeline: 19 months
Role: End to end product design
Impact: Redesigned Ally’s Agent-Assisted Apply (3A) workflow into a Hybrid Application, expanding access for offline borrowers and driving a 10% increase in loan volume.
Hinge
This project explores how Hinge can better support marginalized daters—particularly trans and non-binary users—by addressing key challenges around visibility, safety, and inclusion. Through user research, competitive analysis, and usability audits, we uncovered pain points that make online dating feel dehumanizing, uncomfortable, or even unsafe for many LGBTQ+ daters.
In response, we designed solutions that empower users with more control over how they express their identities, foster transparency in matches, and create safer, more intentional connections. Our recommendations range from enhancing onboarding for LGBTQ+ users and expanding gender identity options to introducing trauma-informed reporting features and mitigating biased browsing behaviors.
